Folowing the feedback left for me from my last post regarding the screen designs, here are a new set that I have derived from the original. A few changes have been made, including shades of colour and the background colour. Again your help is always appreciated.

I like the design, the background works really well. Will this be a full screen website? I still don't think the homepage needs that much text though.
One homepage there should be lots of images and only a slight bit of text even if it is just the links.
I think on the interior page you need to start going into detail on the work you have done.
I think you also need to adjust the amount of fonts you have usd becaus I have spotted at least 3 different ones, unless you miss styled the copyright text at the bottom.
Apart from that I like the simple use of colours and layout and I think it works really well together.
I agree with chris about the size. Should it need to stretch out that much in width?
The font used for the links I think should be the same font for your body text. That way it will keep the consistency.
Maybe you could show more than one image on the homepage. Ideally underneath the one in the showcase. This will mean having to add extra height onto the black box but atleast there's not as much of the site being filled up by the background image.
Are you sure there's nothing else you could do with your header? It seems like most of the site is covered by the background image.
The yellow on the logo is very hard to notice. Could you increase it's size somehow to make it more noticeable? There doesn't seem to be much contrast with the yellow and the grey either. This is something you should think about.
Are you not going to have a link to your CV? Or even an area for Steve to see all your work?
This is a massive improvement from your first one Mirhad, and I take it back - this is now the best of the your designs.
Everything is screaming at me to hate that background, but it really works. Not sure about the slab serif though, it doesn't really suit the design. Like Marc said, it needs to be changed to be more consistent with the rest of your design.
I like the way you've updated your logo, looks much better now. However, you've still got the pages mixed up; you need to change it so that the homepage has the images on and your interior pages looks more like your current homepage.
I think you could make the black bar a bit taller to allow for more room, but other than that this is a massive improvement over the original. I think after the font changes and a few tweaks this will be perfect.
Though it has been said that your pages need to be swapped I would obviously keep your existing interior page as your main interior page (for when you click on 'web design' for example) then have a page similar to your existing homepage for specific projects.
It would depend if you wanted your projects to link straight from the first interior page or not though.
I think the background image has to go - it looks a bit 1995. It may also be hard to get it to tile well, and will involve the use of the 'threshold' part of Photoshop (IIRC).
Also, will your design be centered, or aligned left? I'd advise centered, as more and more people use widescreen monitors - centering stops people having to crane their necks to see the page (like I do on Craig B's personal blog ;) )
Copyright text could do with being a tad bigger - stamp your authority onto your work!
I really like what you have done with the banner but I do agree with Marc about your choice of font. This would look much better if it was the same font used for the rest of the text.
I also like what you have done with the showcase section. You could add another piece of work underneath but I would not use more than 2 examples.
I agree with Julian about your background image, I think that you could use this in the banner but a flat colour may look more effective as with your dark grey section.
I don't agree with the left-align and background comments. I think your site works left-aligned, even if it doesn't look so effective on a ridiculously wide monitor.
Like I previously said, the background shouldn't look good, but it does. It suits your design and adds a bit of character. I like the fact it looks a little bit like a 90s wallpaper. Don't get rid!
That could possibly be the thing that the site is remembered for.
Cheers for you comments guys, even though your opinions area ll very varied, whcih has left me even more confused. For the next itteration, I'm really going to have to experiemnt a bit with the background situation, but I personally like the current one, that little bit of texture makes a change from every other website like Craig mentioned.
As for the home page situation, again i'm slightly confused about this. In general the home page on most portfolios has some kind of introductory text or personal statement. Now the question really is, do you follow the flock and stick to whaat works, or try to be a bit different like Craig is ushering me to do?
I like this design because it is different. I would be a little concerned about there being negative space either above or below the main content. I think it looks good in your design because it is horizontally centred in the middle of the page. But on different monitors there may be lots of space below the content.
Your logo looks really good and the font you have chosen for the links works well.
Mirhad, different is what will get your remembered. Making your home page just examples of work isn't radically different, and I've seen a lot of portfolio sites do this.
It all depends on whether you want to give your user exactly what they want. It's fair to say that they will want to see your work (and possibly read about you afterwards), so this should be the focus of the website.
It's simple really - the easier you make it for people to view your work, the more people are going to view it.
